Nike launched the Paris Saint Germain Air Max 90 iD Oct. 26, taking the Parisian club well beyond the pitch.



The casual wear kicks are customizable among the red, white and blue of the defending Ligue 1 champions, with grey options throughout the hand-picked process.



Shoes feature either the club badge or the NikeiD logo on the heel and all come with special-edition striped laces. But it gets extra interesting on the inside.

Going beyond the air-cushioned comfort that's made the Air Max famous, consumers can choose from one of five French phrases that will appear embroidered on the tongue of the shoe.



¡°Ici c'est Paris¡± (Here is Paris), ¡°Oh Ville lumi¨¨re¡± (Oh City of Light), ¡°Allez Paris¡± (Let's go Paris), ¡°Paris ist magique¡± (Paris is Magic) and ¡°L¨¦gende en March¨¦¡± (Legend on the March) are the options.

Even the dots on the NikeiD sole of the shoe can be customized.

For stateside fans, the shoes appear to be geared toward the holiday season with the Nike store website telling buyers to order by Nov. 30 to guarantee delivery by Dec. 24. There's no such note on the French or UK versions of the site though, so if you're across the pond, PSG-colored comfort is just a few personalized clicks away.

The launch of the shoes only adds to Nike's PSG collection that features matchday gear as well as scarves, training tops and bottoms, climate-control gear and jackets. PSG is one of 14 teams with full lines featured on the Nike Store website.

NikeiD is a feature of the Nike product line allowing buyers to customize Nike products within the Swoosh's wide range of colors. The option is only available in the U.S., Europe, China and Japan and purchases can take up to four weeks to arrive.
